Installation

You don't have to bend to make elasticvue work. Install it however you like! Elasticvue is designed to be flexible and easy to use, so you can choose the method that best fits your needs.

Desktop app

The desktop app is the easiest and recommended way to use elasticvue.

Download the .msi installer for windows.

MacMac

Download the .dmg file for mac, depending on your cpu.

LinuxLinux

Download the AppImage for linux.

Browser extension

Use the browser extension if you don't want to install the desktop app. You might need to take extra steps to trust your cluster's certificate.

Other installation methods

If you're not using the desktop app or a browser extension, you'll need to configure CORS to allow browser access to your cluster. Elasticvue will provide guidance on configuring your cluster when you first use it. Additionally, you may need to take extra steps to trust your cluster's certificate.

You can use the hosted version of elasticvue to avoid installing anything.

Run cars10/elasticvue:latest and expose port 8080.
